Gum boots for men, women and kids
Most of our gumboots come in UK 5 to 10, and the K01 and S-200 heavy duty run from UK 3 to 11, which covers most gum boots for women as well as men. Kids' pairs use EU sizes. If you are between sizes, take the larger one and wear thicker socks.
PVC gum boots and how to care for them
All these boots are PVC gum boots, moulded in one piece so there are no seams for water to get through. Rinse off mud and dung after use, dry them upside down out of direct sun, and store them standing up so the shaft does not crease.
What is the difference between gum boots vs rain boots?
In Kenya they are the same thing: a waterproof rubber or PVC boot that covers the foot and lower leg. Gumboot is the usual name here; rain boot is more common abroad.
Which gumboot is best for a building site?
The S-200 safety gumboot, because it has a steel toe cap and a puncture-resistant midsole. Ordinary gumboots keep you dry but do not protect your toes.
Do gumboots run true to size?
Yes, most people take their usual shoe size. Wear the socks you will work in when you try them, and size up if you are between sizes.
