Black school shoes for girls
Most schools in Kenya ask for black school shoes for girls, and most of these are leather, which can be polished and lasts longer than synthetic uppers. The bar shoe, with one strap and a buckle, is the most common style for younger girls; older girls often move to a T-bar or a lace-up.
Which style for which age
- Nursery and lower primary (children's UK 6 to 1): the 6031, 6028 or 6060 bar shoes, or the TEKE 6048 from EU 25.
- Upper primary and secondary (UK 2 to 8): the 6060 and 6028 bar shoes, the 6048 T-bar or a lace-up such as the 6029.
- A shiny finish: the patent bar shoe, EU 25 to 36.
Getting the size right
Measure your daughter's feet in the evening and leave about a thumb's width in front of the longest toe for growth. Children's sizes 6 to 13 come before the older sizes 1, 2, 3, so a 'size 9 to 1' band covers 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 1.

Can I exchange the size?
Yes, within 7 days of delivery, if the shoes are unworn and in their box. Message us on WhatsApp with your order and the size you need. You pay the delivery both ways, or swap them yourself at our shop in This and That Building, Ronald Ngala Street, Shop B5.
